A solution to a problem
we lived for years.
Oktohut started inside a WordPress agency in 2021. We’d hit the same wall every growing agency hits — more client demand than internal capacity, and no clean way to scale. Freelancers were unreliable. Hiring full-time meant taking a $96k/year bet on a pipeline that wasn’t guaranteed. Off-shoring through a marketplace meant managing a different developer every project.
We tried building our own delivery team — and it worked. So well that other agency owners started asking if they could “borrow” our developers. The pattern was clear: agencies don’t need more freelancers, they need a real team they can rent.

In 2023 we spun out Oktohut as a standalone business with one model: dedicated three-person pods, flat monthly pricing, fully white-labeled. No marketplaces. No project bidding. No surprise invoices. Just a team that shows up.
