The Situation

More Scope than in-house Capacity, on a Deadline the Agency didn't Set

Single Focus Web is a small, capable design agency. Cecily’s own words on why she came to Oktohut:

“We are a productive little agency but could be so much more with a great white-label agency behind us.”

She needed 45 interior pages built in Elementor for a nonprofit client (Tohono Chul), migrated from an existing site, styled to match a homepage that was still in progress, with a WooCommerce store configured on top — all in about a week, with a hard delivery deadline the client couldn’t move.

That’s the exact bottleneck Oktohut exists for: agencies with more scope than in-house capacity, on a deadline they can’t renegotiate.

What was delivered

Full Scope, not a Cut-down Version of it

“Oktohut worked fast to provide high quality content migration. When the content wasn’t clear they made educated guesses, which I appreciated. They worked within my set up plugins and tools and kept things tidy.”

From Project to Partner

Within days of the Tohono Chul handoff, Cecily asked for pricing on an ongoing arrangement:

“Your willingness to jump in on a short timeline was what we needed in this situation, but I am excited to see what your team can do with a more leisurely time frame as well.”

She converted to a single Oktohut Pod and brought two new nonprofit projects into the queue — a homepage rebuild and LMS course setup for a children’s advocacy center, and a full site redesign for a Ronald McDonald House Charities chapter to match a new national brand template. Rather than paying for two pods running in parallel, Oktohut recommended sequencing both projects under one, based on her actual timeline — the lower-cost option, not the higher-revenue one.

That’s the model: prove reliability on one hard deadline, then become the standing production team an agency plans its own roadmap around.
